How old does my child need to be to participate in the Youth Striking Program?
Our Youth Striking Program is for Boys and Girls ages 5 – 12 years old.
When are Level Up Youth Boxing Classes held?
Our Youth Striking Classes are held Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:15pm to 7:00pm. Mondays and Wednesdays are Youth Boxing. Tuesdays and Thursdays are Youth Kickboxing.
Who coaches the Youth Striking Program?
Advanced classes are taught by Professional Fighter Jared Tipton. Beginners classes are taught by Briana Corbin.
Does my child need to hit others or get hit?
Not at all! At the Youth Level, our priority is to teach proper techniques for punches, kicks, and defenses. No child is ever required to spar or participate in any activity that makes them feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
Will my child be able to compete?
After several months of training, students will be eligible to test for their Level 1 Certification. If they pass, they will be able to participate in advanced training. With parental consent, this will allow students to work towards the competition path and include sparring.
What equipment does my child need?
For the 7 Day Trial, we will provide the student with gloves. Once you sign up as a member, your child will need gloves and possibly shin guards. You can obtain a list of required gear from the front desk.
What does the Youth Striking Program Cost?
The Youth Striking Program currently costs $107 a month for 2 days a week and $127 a month for 4 days a week.
